Nikki Bella Teases Brie Bella Returning to WWE

Nikki Bella returned to WWE earlier this year, surprising fans as she participated in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. While she didn’t win the match, she’s since participated in several significant matches and storylines, including her upcoming battle with Stephanie Vaquer.
Vaquer, the WWE Women’s World Champion, is putting her championship on the line against Nikki at Survivor Series WarGames 2025. The match arrived after Nikki briefly befriended the champion and pretended to be an ally, before betraying her in the ring on “Monday Night Raw.”
A win over Vaquer would be another major accomplishment for Nikki, who is already a member of the WWE Hall of Fame. However, she entered the HOF alongside her sister, Brie, due to their careers coinciding in WWE as The Bella Twins.

Brie has stayed away from the WWE ring since her sister returned, which could indicate she’s content not competing. However, Nikki seemed to hint at the possibility of a Bella Twins reunion.
Ahead of her challenging Vaquer at Survivor Series, Nikki appeared on “Good Morning America,” where she discussed her sister not being with her for this WWE run.
“It’s different for sure. Of course, I wish Brie was by me. We started in this industry together. We built a legacy together,” she said.
“It would be a dream to be in the ring with her and see our kids ringside together. Who knows, one day maybe,” Nikki teased.
As of this writing, Brie’s final match with WWE was the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match, which Nikki also participated in. In March 2023, both Brie and Nikki indicated their WWE contracts had expired, and they mutually agreed not to renew them so they could pursue other endeavors.
Their outside pursuits included creating their own wine and a successful podcast, which they continue to co-host weekly. In recent episodes, the twins spoke about Nikki’s return to WWE and her various matches and storylines.
Seeing Brie return would likely create a huge pop among fans of the Bella Twins, much as Nikki and AJ Lee did in the past year. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Brie return briefly to assist or support her sister at ringside, whether it’s a role working with WWE or simply watching from the crowd.
She’ll likely be rooting for Nikki as WWE Survivor Series WarGames takes place Saturday, Nov. 29, beginning at 7 p.m. Eastern Time on the ESPN app.
