Nebraska volleyball vs. Penn State recap, stats and highlights

Nebraska volleyball (29-0, 19-0) returned home for the final two games of the 2025 regular season, starting with a Black Friday match against No. 25 Penn State (17-12, 11-8). In a blackout match, the Huskers swept the Nittany Lions (25-14, 25-11, 25-14)

The Huskers took each set in dominant fashion, finishing the match with 39 kills off 78 attacks, earning a .385 attack percentage. Nebraska also earned 41 digs, nine blocks and seven service aces, including five in one set. The Huskers also brought the defense, holding Penn State to 23 kills off 94 attacks for a .011 attack percentage.

Harper Murray led the way for Nebraska, tallying 11 kills off 21 attacks along with seven digs and a team-high four blocks. Rebekah Allick finished with a .750 attack percentage, hitting nine kills off 12 attacks with no errors. She also posted a team-high four blocks. Andi Jackson rounded out the Huskers’ block party, earning four, while also earning six kills off 14 attacks.

Virginia Adriano and Taylor Landfair each delivered five kills in the win. Adriano also snatched two service aces to co-lead the team. Bergen Reilly also grabbed two service aces accompanying her 29 set assists and 12 digs for a double double.

With the win, Nebraska sweeps the national champions on the season. The Huskers swept the Nittany Lions earlier this season (25-6, 25-15, 25-13) on the road. Nebraska concludes the regular season on Saturday night against Ohio State. The first serve is set for 8 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
