Masked Superstar (Seth Rollins?) Attacks CM Punk To Help Paul Heyman’s Team Win WarGames Match

Finishing off WWE Survivor Series as the main event was the men’s WarGames match, featuring Team CM Punk (himself, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso) against Team Vision (Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar, with Paul Heyman).
During that main event, a surprise person came into the match by climbing the cage, jumping in, and going after CM Punk.
Specifically, Punk was targeted with a superkick, followed by a stomp, and this masked attacker then jumped off, climbing the cage again to retreat.
This was enough of an advantage to secure the victory for the heel team, as Bron Breakker followed it up by pinning Punk—something which could put him in title contention going forward for a future World Heavyweight Championship shot down the line.

But who was this masked person?
Obviously, that is a mystery that hasn’t been revealed yet and will be a major hook going into Monday Night Raw, but there’s nothing stopping us from speculating.
Author’s Theories & Predictions
Before getting into who I think it is, I think it’s worth just addressing the elephant in the room: this is not Seth Rollins.
That is, of course, the whole mystery of this thing. You’re supposed to think it is. But there is no logical reason why it would be, both in terms of kayfabe and just a shoot rationale.
Rollins is injured and will be missing WrestleMania. Even if he were to return early from his projected time out, it’s likely not going to be until closer to Mania, if not after, but not this early. Sure, WWE could have been lying about his injury like they did before, but there was a storyline reason to pull that off (as weird as it was), because it allowed Rollins to cash in Money in the Bank and leave with the title. Giving up the title to play gotcha makes no sense, and it wouldn’t be logical for him to help out the people who beat him up, would it?
I think there is one culprit who makes the most sense, even though it does come out of left field, and that is Austin Theory.
There have been plenty rumors for a long while that Theory was considered for joining the group at various stages, including more recently after Seth’s injury, as part of a new member to bolster the ranks. I think with this attacker’s physique, Theory is going to be revealed as someone Heyman orchestrated to come in and help them out. Why do the Rollins moves? If they explain it at all, it’ll be that Heyman was just messing with us. But in reality, it’s just WWE trying to put out a red herring and swerve a good portion of the audience, who undoubtedly will think that this is Rollins.
At least, that’s my theory.
