Triple H Confirms Backstage Dispute In Men’s WarGames Match

Triple H has confirmed backstage tensions over the Men’s WarGames match.

The Survivor Series main event was jam packed with star power as names such as CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar entered the match beyond. There were some rumors of creative differences among all the big names before the show, specifically regarding the order of their entrance.

The WWE Creative Head seemingly confirmed these speculations during his appearance on the Survivor Series post show. Triple H claimed that lobbying and politics were involved in the booking of the match:

When you have Brock Lesnar, who does not team well with others. When you have Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, CM Punk, Logan Paul.

All these people that are in there putting things out at another level, and you see that competitive nature.

The lobbying, the politics, the backstage tension tonight, you can cut it with a knife. It was epic. You saw that in people’s performances.

Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns were the two final contestants who entered the bout from their respective sides. The Beast got the upper hand over the Tribal Chief early on. It was the duo of CM Punk and Cody Rhodes that neutralised the threat, with a GTS and Cross Rhodes combo.

The ending of the bout was equally surprising as a hooded figure helped Bron Breakker pin CM Punk and left without ever revealing his face. You can check out the spoiler on his identity here.
