Fans of British pop sensation Dua Lipa in Mexico are in for a unique culinary treat with the upcoming launch of her pop-up taquería, Tacos La Dua, in Mexico City. Set to open from December 1 to 5, the pop-up will celebrate the singer’s arrival for the final leg of her international Radical Optimism Tour.
Warner Music Mexico made the announcement on social media, revealing that the taquería will be located at Avenida Michoacán 93, in the fashionable neighborhood of La Condesa. This collaboration with the local taquería, Los Caramelos, aims to create an immersive experience that combines music and delicious food. The venue will feature a specially curated menu alongside merchandise, souvenirs, and photo opportunities, all set to the backdrop of Dua Lipa’s greatest hits.
The highlight of the menu is the La Dua special package, priced at 249 pesos (approximately $13). It includes the Radical Optimism Taco, filled with juicy beef barbacoa, cheese, and beans, the crispy pork rink taco dubbed the Houdini, and the flavorful María Taco made with arranchera steak, complemented by themed drinks and soup. The taquería will operate from noon until midnight, allowing concert-goers to indulge in tasty tacos either before or after enjoying Lipa’s performances.
In addition to the taquería, Dua Lipa will also host a “Book Tasting” event at La Americana bookstore, also in Condesa, featuring cocktails and discussions centered around literature. This represents another opportunity for fans to engage with the singer in a different context.

Dua Lipa has a special bond with her Mexican audience, having often expressed her affection for Mexico City, calling it one of her “favorite places in the world.” In her newsletter, Service 95, she frequently shares recommendations for places to visit within the vibrant capital.
This tour marks a return to Mexico for the artist, who performed to a crowd of 65,000 fans at Foro Sol, currently known as Estadio GNP Seguros, back in 2022. On this occasion, she will be performing three consecutive nights on December 1, 2, and 5 at the same venue, with ticket prices ranging from 829 to 3,880 pesos ($45 to $211).
The anticipation for both the taquería and the concerts underscores how deeply Dua Lipa’s music resonates with her Mexican fanbase, making her upcoming visit an exciting event for many.
