Solo Leveling fans have enjoyed quite a spectacular 2025 so far. With the return of the second season of the series, fans were delighted to see the franchise take another step in the right direction and make the series bigger than ever before. It goes without saying that Solo Leveling has a very bright future ahead of itself and that it will continue to grow bigger as time passes and it receives more projects.

Solo Leveling Is Finally Making A Big Comeback

Solo Leveling is returning, and a lot sooner than expected.

Curiously enough, one such Solo Leveling project was announced this year and it’s a game called Solo Leveling Karma. Usually, anime games don’t offer anything unique that would make fans want to play them desperately. These games are usually not of the highest quality, and that’s no surprise, seeing their history over the past few decades. However, Solo Leveling Karma offers something unique to the fans of the series as it can potentially fix a very specific part of the ending that the fans did not like, and that’s the 27-Year Monarch War.

Solo Leveling Karma Will Add Context To The 27-Year Monarch War

Solo Leveling sees Sung Jinwoo continue his journey as the Shadow Monarch in the latter half. Once Jinwoo realizes his true powers, he goes on to become even stronger, and then, he takes part in more difficult battles, such as against Monarchs and other powerful characters. While all the battles that fans get to see in Solo Leveling manhwa are phenomenal, one thing that fans don’t like is the fact that Jinwoo ends up going back in time to save the lives of all those who were lost.

To accomplish this, Jinwoo has to use the cup of reincarnation, and then fight and defeat other powerful individuals and wipe them out completely. Accomplishing this takes him 27 years, and in this time, he has to beat all the other Monarchs. Unfortunately, the series never actually focuses on this part of the story and that is truly a shame, because the fights that it would have delivered would have been absolutely sensational.

Solo Leveling Season 3 Might Not Be Coming Anymore

Solo leveling season 3 might not be coming anymore – but another project is on the way instead.

This is precisely where Solo Leveling Karma is going to shine. The game will allow fans to play as Sung Jinwoo and fight during the 27-Year Monarch War. It will most likely have game-exclusive animated scenes that will add a tremendous amount of context to this war and show the fans exactly whom he fought during this time period, and how he won. It will be absolutely incredible to see Jinwoo’s growth, and it’ll potentially even expose the fans to some newer abilities of his that they haven’t seen.

Solo Leveling Fans Can’t Wait For The New Game

It goes without saying that Solo Leveling fans are incredibly excited for the new Karma game. This game is not like the average anime game, as has been made clear already. It gives the fans the chance to relive a very interesting part of the story but see it in a completely different light.

Undoubtedly, it is only going to make the world of Solo Leveling richer and improve the fans’ appreciation for it.

Solo Leveling Karma Can Fix The War

Solo Leveling Karma is undoubtedly going to be a very unique experience for all the fans and it could very well end up fixing one of the most exciting parts of the story. Of course, whether the fans consider it canon or not is secondary. It is highly likely that they will never get to see the real events from the author because the series is already over and any potential sequel will most definitely not touch upon it. This is as close as fans will ever get to finding out the true events of the 27-Year Monarch War.

This game doesn’t need to exist for the story to make sense, as Solo Leveling stands on its own perfectly fine. However, added context can be nice. Fans can either disregard it or consider it a supplementary addition to the incredible world of Solo Leveling. Perhaps, the author might have some input on this game as well and that’s something that fans will find out with time.

Solo Leveling has 25 episodes available to watch right now, split over two major seasons, the most recent of which wrapped up in 2025. The series can be streamed on Crunchyroll. There have been no major announcements about a third season so far. Fans can get more Solo Leveling content via the Manhwa.
