Virat Kohli is on fire for Team India in the ongoing first ODI against South Africa. In the match taking place at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi on Sunday, November 30, he completed his half-century in 48 balls and added 136 runs for the second wicket with Rohit Sharma, who made 57 runs from 51 balls. At the end of 25 overs in India’s innings, Kohli was batting on 83 runs from 75 balls.

Kohli has hammered five fours and five sixes so far for the KL Rahul-led side, and his second six of the day helped him overtake Yuvraj Singh in the list of batters with the most sixes for India in ODIs.

During his 17-year-long ODI career from 2000 to 2017, Yuvraj played 301 50-over matches for the Men in Blue and hammered 153 sixes, whereas Kohli has 156 sixes to his credit in 306 ODIs.

Kohli needed two sixes on Sunday to go past Yuvraj’s tally, and he achieved the objective by hitting Ottneil Baartman for a maximum on the third ball of the 10th over.
