Why are Man Utd kicking off on Sunday at midday v Palace

The clash in France kicked off at 21:00 local time (20:00 GMT) and, with the Premier League attempting to ensure teams have at least 60 hours gap between matches, the switch to Sunday now means there is a 64-hour difference for Oliver Glasner’s men.

As per Opta, this will be our 14th midday game in the Premier League and the first since April 2017, when Jose Mourinho’s side drew 1-1 with Swansea City at Old Trafford.

As a consequence of our outing at Selhurst Park, three of the later top-flight games have been pushed back to start at 14:05 GMT, to avoid any potential overlap.

Aston Villa face Wolverhampton Wanderers, Nottingham Forest entertain Brighton & Hove Albion and West Ham United host Liverpool.

The London derby between Chelsea and Arsenal remains at 16:30 GMT.
