Iowa State cancels Monday classes due to hazardous post-Thanksgiving road conditions

AMES, Iowa — Iowa State University has canceled all day and evening classes on Monday, Dec. 1 due to potentially hazardous road conditions following the Thanksgiving holiday.
The university itself will remain open, and Facilities Planning and Management crews will be working over the weekend to clear roads and sidewalks.
Students and employees are encouraged to prioritize safety when traveling to campus. Employees unable to make it on Monday should coordinate with their supervisor to work remotely or use leave.
