Flight disruptions continue at Mitchell Airport on Nov. 30 after season’s first major snow storm

Travelers hoping to get home during the holiday weekend will be waking up to more flight disruptions at Milwaukee’s Mitchell International Airport on Nov. 30 after the season’s first significant snowfall blanketed southeastern Wisconsin.
As of 10 p.m. Nov. 29, nine departing flights scheduled for Nov. 30 at Milwaukee’s Mitchell International Airport have been canceled. Millions of travelers are facing similar disruptions after the powerful snowstorm battered much of the Midwest and Great Lakes region.
More than a dozen flights were canceled on Nov. 29. Airport marketing coordinator Summer Hegranes urged travelers to stay in touch with their airlines in case their flight is delayed or canceled.
