Since kicking off their European quest with a 4-1 victory over AS Monaco on September 18, Nicky Hayen’s side have failed to win their subsequent four matches, losing three and claiming one draw to drop into 26th place in the UCL table.
While Club Brugge are floundering on the continental scene, they turn their focus to the Jupiler League, where they have won six of their last seven matches, a run which has seen them surge into second place in the league table, four points off league leaders Union Saint-Gilloise.
On the other hand, Royal Antwerp were sent crashing back to earth in the league last Sunday when they fell to a 2-1 defeat against Dender at the Florent Beeckmanstadion.
