Wigan Warriors face two trips across the English Channel during the 2026 Betfred Super League campaign to play Toulouse Olympique and Catalans Dragons.
The 2026 Betfred Super League fixtures were released in full on this morning, with the dates confirmed for our away matches against Toulouse and Catalans in France.
Toulouse Olympique v Wigan Warriors, Saturday 7 March, 6pm K.O. (local time)
For the first time since the 2022 campaign, the Warriors will meet the Championship Grand Final winners at the Stade Ernest-Wallon. Described as a ‘temple to the oval ball’, the 19,000 capacity stadium, home of rugby union giants Stade Toulousain, has housed Toulouse for the last six years.
The Warriors have only played at the Stade Ernest-Wallon once before, which came during Toulouse’s sole season in the competition. Matt Peet’s side overturned an eight point deficit as Harry Smith’s last-minute drop goal gave Wigan a 29-28 win after Jai Field (2), Zak Hardaker, Cade Cust and Liam Marshall crossed for tries in Southern France.
Catalans Dragons v Wigan Warriors, Saturday 6 June, 6:30pm K.O. (local time)
While the Warriors miss out on a fixture in Perpignan this season, the away clash against Catalans will take place in the French capital, Paris, to mark 20 years of the Dragons in Super League and 30 years since the competition’s first match was staged in the city.
Hosted at the Stade Jean-Bouin, a recently revamped stadium holding rich history, bold architecture, and an evolving role in Parisian sports, the match will be the latest chapter in the Warriors taking rugby league to new audiences and iconic venues.
The near 20,000 capacity stadium is situated a stone’s throw from the iconic Parc des Prices – home to Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain – and the Stade Roland-Garros, home to the annual French Open tennis tournament which will be taking place on the same weekend.
