Snow possible, winter weather could make an early appearance in Middle Tennessee next week

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A brush of winter weather might be heading our way early next week.

A low-pressure system near the Gulf coast is expected to bring widespread rain, but there’s a possibility of winter weather in parts of Middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky.

The best chance for snow is near the Ohio River, but areas in southern Kentucky and northern Tennessee could experience light winter conditions.

Currently, models suggest a 20% chance of winter weather in northern counties, with decreasing chances further south.
