Red Bull falling short

Oscar Piastri will start on pole for tomorrow’s Qatar Grand Prix, as he bids to keep his world championship challenge alive.
Max Verstappen arrived at the penultimate round of 2025 off the back of victory in Las Vegas — alongside a dramatic disqualification of both McLaren drivers — turning the championship into a genuine three-way fight ahead of a key Lusail weekend.
Piastri won the sprint race earlier today with Lando Norris P3, cutting Norris’ championship lead to 22 points, with Verstappen finishing P4 and now another three points behind Piastri.
And the trio will take up the front three spots for the grand prix in Lusail, with Piastri on pole ahead of Norris and Verstappen.
