Will Marvin Harrison Jr., Bam Knight play today? Injury updates, start or sit advice for Week 13

The Arizona Cardinals have two playmakers listed as questionable for their Week 13 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and running back Bam Knight.
Harrison has missed each of the past two games after undergoing an appendectomy. He logged three limited practices during the week before drawing the questionable tag.
Knight was on the injury report this week with a knee issue and also only practiced on a limited basis all three days.
Here’s what we know about Harrison’s and Knight’s status for Sunday.
Is Marvin Harrison Jr. playing today?
Despite the questionable tag, Harrison is expected to play on Sunday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
“Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison, listed as questionable for Sunday due to an illness, is expected to play vs. the Buccaneers, per source,” Schefter reported on Saturday night.
Is Bam Knight playing today?
Knight will indeed suit up for the Week 13 game against the Bucs, Schefter reports.
“Cardinals RB Bam Knight, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a knee injury, is expected to play vs. the Bucs, per source,” Schefter wrote.
Marvin Harrison Jr. start or sit advice
Our biggest concern with Harrison this week is the possibility that he won’t see a full complement of snaps in his first game back.
Now, that hasn’t been confirmed, but when speaking to reporters on Friday, it sounded like Harrison might not be all the way back just yet.
“Some things feel uncomfortable and some things feel kinda normal,” Harrison told reporters, according to Bo Brack of PHNX Cardinals.
If you have to start Harrison, he does have a good matchup against a Buccaneers defense giving up the ninth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers.
Based on that quote and the fact that he didn’t turn in a single full practice during the week, we’re erring on the side of caution and sitting Harrison in Week 13.
Verdict: Sit
Bam Knight start or sit advice
Trey Benson will not be making his return to the lineup this week, which leaves Knight as the starter for another week. He also won’t have Emari Demercado siphoning off touches after he was ruled out due to injury.
Since taking over as starter in Week 6, Knight is averaging 10.1 fantasy points per game, which ranks him tied for RB29 in that span and makes him a fringe flex option on a weekly basis.
Knight gets a Buccaneers team that is ceding the 11th-most fantasy points per game to running backs in 2025. That, along with decent volume, puts Knight in play as a flex option in Week 13.
Verdict: Start
