It has been another devastating blow as another celebrity has been eliminated for Strictly Come Dancing, as viewers demand a ‘second opinion’

Strictly Come Dancing has waved goodbye to its latest contestant after the tense week 10 dance off – and the judges were split in their decision. It’s a heartbreaking exit for the star who came so close to securing a place in the quarter final. Making it to week 10 is a huge achievement, especially with Blackpool already conquered.
The spoiler has once again leaked online early by Dave J Thorp, who posts the results a few hours after the show has finished filming since the last show and results show are recorded back-to-back. While the Daily Record opted not to reveal which celebrity has been eliminated, we can confirm that viewers were not impressed with the outcome from the dance off.
Taking to X, formally known as Twitter, one user stated: “Absolutely gutted, but it was the right choice.” While another said: “So near the final, so I get the decision, at least they reached Blackpool. Respectable contestant, great partnership.”
A third user wrote: “I hope they know how loved they really are. They achieved so much in this competition and huge respect to [the professional dancer] as well who has been brilliant this series.”

Meanwhile other viewers were left fuming and called for a “second opinion” with one user commenting: “I don’t believe for one minute they would save the person in question between those two.” However, some fans noted they felt the person who left was “asking” to go this week.
In the spoiler announcement Dave wrote: “The BBC might want you to wait to learn who the quarter finalists are, I am very happy to provide the information hundreds of thousands of you crave… So here are the results.”
He went on to reveal which two couples landed in the dance off, adding that while three of the judges chose to save the dancer who progressed to next week, one judge disagreed, the Express reports.
This comes after La Voix pulled out of the competition. There was no dance off following Blackpool as La Voix withdrew from the competition after suffering an injury. The drag queen’s departure was confirmed by Tess Daly at the start of last week’s show, with Tess explaining that they had stepped down on medical advice.
It had previously been reported that La Voix couldn’t perform, but had hoped to rejoin the competition the following week. At the time La Voix wrote on Instagram : “This isn’t the ending I imagined, but I’ll cherish this forever.”
It was confirmed that no dance-off would take place and that viewer votes would be carried over to the following week.
La Voix became the third contestant to withdraw from the series, following Stefan Dennis, who left with an injury in September and Dani Dyer, who also had to pull out due to injury just days before the show began.
