Many trains have been cancelled or face delays
A power outage has caused major disruption to rail services at Leeds Station.
National Rail said the outage had led to a fault with the signalling system which meant lines were currently blocked, leading to many services being cancelled or delayed.
LNER services between London and Leeds and Bradford Forster Square have been affected as well as all Northern, CrossCountry and TransPennine Express services.
At 16:30 GMT some services had returned, but National Rail said disruption was expected to last until 22:00.

Passengers are unable to get past the ticket barriers to access the platforms
LNER said due to the severity of the disruption and the number of cancellations, customers were advised to defer travel and use their tickets for services later on or on Monday.
It said passengers would be able to use their tickets with other train companies at no extra cost.
Northern said none of its services were currently running through Leeds while TransPennine Express said lines between Manchester Victoria and York via Leeds had been closed.
Both train operators said they did not have rail replacement transport in place.
CrossCountry said there was a “limited road transport” in place between York and Leeds.
Network Rail said the signalling failure was a result of a defective cable, which affected several platforms at Leeds Station from about 10:50.
A spokesperson said: “Engineers attended site and restored power by 13:20. Some services were cancelled or delayed, and passengers are advised to continue checking before they travel.
“We apologise for the disruption and thank passengers for their patience.”

At Leeds Station, hundreds of people are waiting to see when and if they will be able to travel today.
There is an extra challenge facing travellers as this morning the city centre hosted a 10k race with more than 12,000 participants.
Katie had just run the Abbey Dash and was waiting to get home to Menston.
She said: “My train was cancelled coming here and how I can’t get home.”
She said she would not wait around much longer as she was starting to get cold in her shorts.
She added: “Running home along the canal home has crossed my mind!”
Helen, from Bingley, had also took part in the event and was waiting to get home, but said: “I’m absolutely not considering running back!”

Other impacted passengers included Gillian Potter who was supposed to be on the 13:05 service to King’s Cross, the first step on her more than 18-hour journey to Thailand.
She said: “I’m trying to be calm because actually there’s nothing I can do, is there?”
Ms Potter, whose flight leaves Heathrow at 21:00 GMT, left her home near Wetherby earlier for her eight-week trip.
She said: “It’s a bit worrying for me to get to where I’m getting, but my son’s with me and I was going to be met anyway at King’s Cross. So he’s ringing them and telling them that I won’t be on the 13:05 train.”
Meanwhile, the disruption has had a knock-on-effect at other stations, including Doncaster, where other passengers have been affected as many of the trains are scheduled to travel through Leeds.
