BIlls’ Sean McDermott on Keon Coleman’s second missed game, here’s why

Will Keon Coleman be back in the Buffalo Bills’ lineup against the Pittsburgh Steelers?
We will find out that answer on Sunday ahead of the Week 13 game when the teams release their inactive lists 90 minutes before kickoff.
However, Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott did explain the situation from the past two games earlier this week.
Against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11, Coleman admitted it was a disciplinary reason. Last week it was a bit different, per McDermott.
The coach said it was more about the short-week schedule as Buffalo faced the Houston Texans on “Thursday Night Football” in their last outing.
“Just to clear it up, the Tampa game was a discipline situation, the next game, it being a short run-up to the next game, we rolled with the same group we had the week before just because of the short turnaround,” McDermott said. “So, we’re really forward-looking right now in terms of what could happen this week. We’ll take it one day at a time and see where it goes.”
Coleman, a second-year pro, has taken responsibility for being late to team meetings which led to his first missed game.
On top of that, the Bills went on to sign free agent wideout Brandin Cooks.
Time will tell if and when Coleman returns. He has 32 receptions for 330 yards and two touchdowns in nine games played in 2025.
Bills Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2025 season.
