‘It: Welcome to Derry’ clip: Chris Chalk takes a spill in horror show

Psychic soldier Dick Hallorann (Chris Chalk) takes a strange watery journey in the tunnels of a cursed town in “It: Welcome to Derry.”

In Derry, Maine, whatever you do, don’t go into the sewers.

Because in the mysterious small town, which is the setting of HBO’s horror-drama “IT: Welcome to Derry,” that decision can have deadly consequences at the hands of a sinister clown.

The popular show is based on Stephen King’s iconic horror novel and serves as a prequel to the 2017 and 2019 “It” movies.

In a recent interview with USA TODAY, actor Chris Chalk, who plays psychic Dick Hallorann, says his character is facing his own trauma amid all the evil lurking in Derry.

“No one else can see it. And there’s a monster in town! I can’t imagine that it’s going to get better for him,” Chalk explained.
