A cold start to December across the Northland

December will start off on a dreary and chilly note for much of the region. High temperatures will be stuck in the mid-teens, with a little sunshine peeking through late, and a gentle breeze out of the southwest. Tomorrow will be a nearly identical day, with overcast skies and highs in the upper teens, after only dropping down toward 10 degrees overnight.
Tuesday night will bring in the next chance for light snow, but for the time being, accumulations look to be minimal, and flakes will move out by morning. Wednesday, we will start to see a little more sunshine around the region. However, highs will remain in the teens, and as high pressure moves in Wednesday night, that will bring clear skies and send temperatures plummeting below zero by Thursday morning.
Next weekend, we may get a few more light chances for snow, but temperatures will also slowly start to warm back up, with highs creeping up toward 20.
