It is safe to say that millions of gamers are eagerly waiting for the GTA 6 trailer 3. After announcing a second delay for the game, Rockstar Games closed its doors, not even hinting at when we could expect the third trailer. Despite this, players have discussed what it should showcase.
An argument can be made that the GTA 6 trailer 3 should clarify several story-related details to fuel the hype.

5 story details GTA 6 trailer 3 could reveal
1) Main antagonist

Ever since the first trailer of the game, fans have discussed and speculated who could be its main antagonist. We quickly learned about Jason and Lucia being the two main protagonists, but Rockstar cleverly kept the antagonist a secret. In the second trailer, a police officer was portrayed with antagonist undertones, which many fans grasped.
As of now, we do not know about the main antagonist, a detail that the GTA 6 trailer 3 should shed some light on.
2) How do Jason and Lucia know each other

In the first two trailers, we understand that Jason and Lucia have a romantic relationship. However, we do not know how they met each other and ended up together. As soon as the game and its characters were revealed, the details of their history became a hot topic in the community.
Hence, Rockstar could shed some light on their past in the GTA 6 trailer 3. We could see Jason in the army, how he met Lucia, and how Lucia ended up in prison. However, there is a slim chance of this being shown in the trailer since it could tell too much about the story.
3) Details about Cal Hampton

In May 2025, Rockstar released the GTA 6 second trailer with a brand new website showcasing major characters that will feature in the game. One of them was Cal Hampton. He will be one of the best friends of Jason and will help him in several missions. However, we do not have many details about him, especially his role in missions and larger heists.
Hence, in GTA 6 trailer 3, Rockstar could show more of Cal and what his expertise is, apart from being a humorous sidekick character.
4) Details about gang dynamics

In the second trailer, we saw several gangs show up that could have beef with each other in the game. However, we do not know their names and which gangs have beef with one another. Furthermore, we do not really see Jason and Lucia working with different gangs.
Hence, more details about gangs in Vice City and neighboring towns can be shown in GTA 6 trailer 3.
5) Fights between Jason and Lucia

Up until now, we have seen Jason and Lucia stick together in both trailers. However, it is safe to say that there could be some tension between them throughout the story. Hence, in GTA 6 trailer 3, Rockstar should show a major fight between the two to showcase that they are not on the same page all the time.
A fight will make the characters feel more realistic and add depth to them, eventually making them more intriguing.
