What was intended as a lighthearted glimpse into Amy Schumer’s spontaneous at-home photo shoot has now sent the rumour mill into overdrive.
The comedian and mum, 44, shared a series of photos on Instagram showing herself sitting on her home staircase.
Dressed in a yellow mini and black pointy heels, the star was oozing confidence.
“Trying to go to the party but someone won’t go to bed,” she captioned one of the shots, poking fun of her 6-year-old son doing his best at photobombing mum’s sexy moment.
But there was one tiny detail that no amount of bows on her dress or little guest stars could draw attention away from.
Noticeably absent is the Trainwreck’s wedding band, fuelling rumours that she has indeed split from her husband Chris Fischer, after months of dodging divorce rumours.
The new images come after People reported last month that Schumer and her professional chef hubby were working through issues in their marriage.
“They’re privately working through normal issues that couples in long-term marriages have,” a source told the publication.
“They are both committed to the relationship.”
While the piece of jewellery wasn’t anywhere to be seen, fans were focusing on how young the Trainwreck actress looked rather than any confirmation on what’s going on in her love life.
“You look like a teenager. I literally thought this was from your prom,” one fan commented.
“Okay Benjamina Button, every day you look younger than the last,” another added.
And another fan noted: “You’re glowing.”
Schumer also recently caused a stir when she erased all old images of herself on Instagram – including those before her recent 40 pound weight loss.
Despite some comments from fans online claiming how sad it was to see the star mum attempting to erase memories of her past, she insisted there was no real thought behind the mass delete.
“I didn’t delete my old photos because they were pre me losing weight. That’s a narrative you created. I’m proud of how I’ve looked always. I have been working to be pain free and I finally am. My endometriosis is better. My back is healing. I no longer have Cushing syndrome so my face went back to normal,” she clarified on Instagram at the time.
“I am grateful to be strong and healthy especially for my son. But your Instagram is not your identity it’s a curation of what you want the world to see and I feel great strong and beautiful and it’s been fun sharing that.
“I didn’t purposely go on a ‘weight loss journey’ that’s a fine thing to go on. But my focus has been on health. I’m sure my weight will always fluctuate. I’m a perimenopausal woman on her meds. Wishing you strength and self love on whatever path you’re on as long as it’s kind and respectful to all people. No matter their weight race or religion peace!”
Schumer and Fischer began dating in 2017 before marrying in an intimate Malibu ceremony in February 2018.
They welcomed their son, Gene, the following year after a bumpy IVF journey.
