Man dies and another seriously injured after crash on M4 | ITV News

A 32-year-old man has died and another man has been seriously injured after a car crash on the M4.
Wiltshire Police said the collision happened on the eastbound carriageway of the motorway, between Junction 18 for Bath and Junction 17 for Chippenham, at around 2am on Sunday 30 November.
No other vehicles were involved, the force said.
The motorway was closed for most of Sunday 30 November while investigations were carried out. It has now reopened.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are sad to report that a 32-year-old man has died following a road traffic collision involving a single vehicle on the M4, in the early hours of this morning.
“The man’s next of kin have been informed and they are receiving support from specially trained officers. Our thoughts are with them.
“Another man who was in the car is receiving hospital treatment for serious injuries.”
Officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam footage taken from the time to contact the force.
