Alexander Skarsgård is here to celebrate British cinema, including his own nominated performance!
The 49-year-old The Northman star was in attendance at the 2025 British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) on Sunday (November 30) at The Roundhouse in London, England.

Alexander was nominated for Best Supporting Performance for his role as Ray in Pillion. The award ultimately went to Jay Lycurgo for his role as Shy in Steve.
In Pillion, a directionless man (Harry Melling) is swept off his feet when an enigmatic, impossibly handsome biker (Skarsgård) takes him on as his submissive. A day before, the actors attended a screening together!
Pillion is the second most nominated movie of the awards ceremony. It won for Best Debut Screenwriter, Best Make-Up & Hair Design, and Best Costume Design. Pillion then went on to win the night’s biggest award, the Best British Independent Film Award!
Alexander is also going to star in Charli xcx‘s new movie.
