Jimmy Eat World announce massive summer 2026 UK outdoor shows to mark 25 years of ‘Bleed American’

Jimmy Eat World have announced a series of massive summer 2026 UK outdoor shows to mark 25 years of ‘Bleed American’ – check out the details below.

The Arizona rockers will make their live return to the UK with three huge outdoor headline shows next year to mark the 25th anniversary of their classic fourth studio album, ‘Bleed American’. The shows will be the first chance for UK fans to see Jimmy Eat World perform the album in full, as well as rarities and hits from across their catalogue.

Joined by special guests Rise Against, The Get Up Kids and Jay Som (in London only), the UK exclusive shows are set to kick off on August 14 at The Piece Hall, Halifax, before heading to Cardiff Castle the following night (August 15).

Then, on August 16, the run will culminate in their biggest ever UK show to date at London’s Gunnersbury Park. Tickets go on general sale from 10am this Friday (December 5) – and you can find yours here.

Speaking about the upcoming anniversary of the seminal alternative rock record, frontman Jim Adkins said, “When we printed the last mix of ‘Bleed American’, we felt like we had achieved something great for ourselves.

“There was no barometer of how it would connect with people outside of the studio and we are still in awe with the life the record and songs have had since their original release. Bleed American is as much yours as it is ours, so we want to celebrate it with you all in a very special way.”

News of the new dates follow the band sharing the ‘Something(s) Loud’ EP last month. The six-track offering paired recent digital-only singles – including ‘Something Loud’, ‘Place Your Debts’, a cover of Crooked Fingers’ ‘Call to Love’ featuring Bethany Cosentino and more – with the previously unreleased ‘Failure’.

Jimmy Eat World’s last full-length project was 2019’s ‘Surviving‘. In a three-star review of the LP, NME shared: “This album explores some of the different kinds of weights my ego tells me I have to carry… They came up among a crop of bands intent on mining nostalgia and living relentlessly in the past, but the group’s bold, brave steps forward are welcome.”
