Channel 4 is set to broadcast Say Nothing, the compelling new drama adapted from Patrick Radden Keefe’s acclaimed book. The series delves into a haunting tale of murder and memory set against the backdrop of Northern Ireland’s Troubles.

Featuring performances from Trespasses star Lola Petticrew, House of Guinness actor Anthony Boyle, and veteran actresses Maxine Peake from Dinnerladies and Shameless, the series initially launched on Disney+ last year before making its Channel 4 debut on Monday, December 1.

The nine-part drama unfolds across four decades, beginning with the devastating abduction of Jean McConville, a mother of ten children who vanished from her home in 1972, never to be found alive.

According to the official synopsis: “Telling the story of various Irish Republican Army (IRA) members, Say Nothing explores the extremes some people will go to in the name of their beliefs, the way a deeply divided society can suddenly tip over into armed conflict, the long shadow of radical violence for all affected, and the emotional and psychological costs of a code of silence.” Everything you need to know about Say Nothing on Channel 4 is detailed below.
