There are pregnancy announcements, and then there are extremely stylish pregnancy announcements. And actor Sienna Miller has not disappointed at this year’s Fashion Awards, held at London’s Royal Albert Hall and presented by Pandora.
The Anatomy of a Scandal star used the fashion industry’s biggest night of the year to debut her growing baby bump and, by doing so, announcing that she’s expecting her third child.

For the awards, Miller, 43, chose a long sheer white Givenchy gown that showed off her bump in an effortless way, a signifier of Miller’s much-loved style. She wore her hair down in beach blonde waves, accompanied by large chandelier earrings and metallic nails.
Miller, who co-parents her older daughter Marlowe with her ex-partner, the actor Tom Sturridge, told ELLE UK about her decision to freeze her eggs when she turned 40, sharing she felt ‘pressure… [about] kids, and should I have more, and why haven’t I, and all of that, which is a really loud noise. Biology is incredibly cruel on women in that decade – that’s the headline, or it certainly was for me. Then I got to 40 and I froze some eggs. Having been really focused on the need to have another baby, I’m just like, if it happens, it happens. That kind of existential threat has dissipated.’
She has also spoken out about becoming a better mother in her 40s and how gendered the conversation around age and parenthood is telling ELLE earlier this year, ‘I now have a 12-year-old [Marlowe] and a 14-month-old. I think there’s a whole load of noise and people have a lot to say and it’s incredibly gendered and unbelievably misogynistic and anti-feminist. It’s insane. If your body is capable of it, have the baby. Have a wonderful baby. And by the way, I’m a better mother now, and it’s a much more grounded experience. Have all the babies at any time you want to have the babies. And no one has anything to say about—and I love these people, and they’re friends, which I like to name-drop—Al Pacino and Robert De Niro having kids in their 80s. Forget about your age! It’s irrelevant. It’s absolutely irrelevant.’
