On Saturday night Esquire’s editor-in-chief Teo van den Broeke co-hosted an intimate dinner with one of the three cover stars of the Better Men issue, Colman Domingo.
A warm mix of Esquire tastemakers and Domingo’s family and friends, the 25-person dinner took place in the private dining room of Carbone London, where guests enjoyed dishes including Octopus Pizzaiolo, Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, and whole Bronzino.
Domingo was joined by his husband Raul on the evening, with guests including Munroe Bergdorf, Jameela Jamil, James Blake, Bear Grylls, Jessie Ware, Dunhill creative director Simon Holloway, super model Jarrod Scott and actor Russell Tovey.
To round off the evening, an extra large chocolate coconut layer cake was brought out to celebrate Domingo’s 56th Birthday. Guests sang for him uproariously, and Domingo didn’t miss one of his candles on first blow.
Domingo will tonight be hosting the Fashion Awards at The Royal Albert Hall.
