Colman Domingo Celebrates 56th Birthday with Intimate Dinner in London

On Saturday night, a highly anticipated gathering unfolded as Esquire’s editor-in-chief, Teo van den Broeke, co-hosted an intimate dinner alongside one of the cover stars of the magazine’s Better Men issue, Colman Domingo. The event was held in the private dining room of Carbone London, where a carefully curated guest list of 25 individuals, comprised of Esquire tastemakers and Domingo’s family and friends, enjoyed a sumptuous culinary experience.
The menu featured delectable dishes that delighted attendees’ palates, including Octopus Pizzaiolo, Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, and a whole Bronzino. Among the guests was Domingo’s husband, Raul, who joined him in celebrating the special occasion. The star-studded list of attendees included notable figures such as Munroe Bergdorf, Jameela Jamil, James Blake, Bear Grylls, and Jessie Ware, as well as fashion industry personalities like Dunhill’s creative director Simon Holloway and supermodel Jarrod Scott.
As the festivities unfolded, a highlight of the evening arrived with the presentation of an extra-large chocolate coconut layer cake in honor of Domingo’s 56th birthday. The guests erupted in joyous song, celebrating the moment with gusto, and Domingo impressively blew out all his candles in one go, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
Looking ahead, Domingo is set to host the upcoming Fashion Awards at The Royal Albert Hall, a testament to his impactful presence in both the entertainment and fashion worlds.
