How Did Bronny James Play in Lakers’ G League? Top Highlights and Stats from Saturday

Bronny James made his third G League appearance of the 2025-26 season during the South Bay Lakers’ 124-113 loss to the San Diego Clippers on Saturday night.
James finished with 10 points, five rebounds and one assist. He shot 4-of-7 from inside the arc, but missed all five of his attempts from three-point territory.
The 21-year-old also connected on his lone free throw of the game.
James has continued to split time between the NBA and the G League as he navigates through his second year in the association. He hasn’t been able to carve out a consistent role in Los Angeles’ rotation, averaging 1.9 points and 1.7 assists in 10.2 minutes per game on 28.6/25.0/100 shooting splits.
The 2024 second-round pick has received more playing time in his first two G League appearances this year, recording 11.0 points and 8.0 assists per game.
James has struggled to find his rhythm from behind the arc with South Bay, shooting 23.1 percent from three despite connecting on 62.5 percent of his two-point field goals heading into Saturday’s action.
South Bay will continue its 2025-26 campaign during another battle with San Diego on Sunday. Tip-off is at 9 p.m. ET.
