INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Areas of fog this morning in northern Indiana. More snow arrives later tonight and will bring the possibility of tricky travel early Tuesday morning. Temperatures continue to stay on the colder side all week.

TODAY: Where we saw snow over the weekend in Northern Indiana we’ve got some patchy fog and really cold conditions this morning. Look for temperatures into the teens in Northern Indiana where we do have some foggy conditions as well. Central and Southern Indiana hanging onto mostly cloudy skies. We will look for temperatures today to climb right around freezing. Winds will be relatively light out of the southeast.

TONIGHT: A winter weather advisory goes into place later on tonight. We will look for snow to develop shortly after the evening commute. If you are heading to the Pacers game tonight be aware as you are heading out of the venue we will look for some of those snowy roadways. It will be cold with lows falling around 24.

TOMORROW: The snow begins to taper off early Tuesday morning. We will see a total of around 1 to 4 in most locations. The snow will continue to be on the ground throughout the day on Tuesday as temperatures will stay below freezing. Highs will climb right around 28 with mostly cloudy skies.

7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: It will be cold for the middle part of the week as temperatures in the morning will start off in the teens. On Wednesday look for partly cloudy skies a few flurries late or in the day on Wednesday. Look for quiet but cold conditions on Thursday. Highs on Thursday will stay into the twenties. We will see another chance for some snow possibly on Friday with highs right around 30.
