How to Get Discount Pokémon TCG Products And Give to Charity at the Same Time

Oh sure, you’re all excited for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but what have those sales ever done for charity? Probably very little! I’ve not done the research, but that sounds about right. Besides, you might be able to get 15% off a pair of £8 trillion headphones, but only at the eBay Live MCM Birmingham livestream can you find a Mega Charizard Special Illustration Rare in traditional Chinese worth £400 at a starting price of £100. PLUS, all proceeds are going to charity, so if you win an auction, you not only win a sense of victory over other bidders, but you also get to know you have contributed towards a very worthwhile cause.

Yes, Fandom are back at MCM for another charity livestream auction! We’ll be at MCM Birmingham on November 30th from 2.15pm, livestreaming on eBay Live. We’re partnering with 7th City Collectables–which is a nice way of saying we’re hijacking their eBay Live stream–to sell some very exciting Pokémon TCG items at massive discounts. All the proceeds will go to Barnardo’s to help children in need around the country.

We’re joined once again by livestream aficionado and gaming expert, Johnny Chiodini (Oxventure), as well as Pokémon expert, Jordan Middler. We’ll be selling some rad Pokémon TCG stuff at crazy prices, but between those auctions, we’ll have Pokémon discussion, trivia, and challenges for the live audience. If you’re coming to MCM Birmingham, make sure you swing by to check out the eBay Live tour bus! It’s a quaint little van you once dreamed about taking to Glastonbury, but spruced up with wi-fi, cameras, and everything you need for live auctions. During our slot in the van, not only will we be throwing out booster pack prizes to engaging audience members, but it’s also one of the only places at the venue to get free, reliable Wi-Fi! Even if you can’t make it to our time slot, there are live auctions going on all weekend, so it’s definitely worth checking out.

What’s For Sale?

Your Pokémon TCG curiosity is piqued, I see. Fret not, for you shan’t be disappointed: see below for just a few of the amazing items we’re selling in the auction. There’s too much to list here, so we’re keeping some surprises for the day!

  1. A sealed Prismatic Pouch Box worth £100. We’re starting the auction at just £1.
  2. The highly sought-after Yu Nagaba Pikachu, sealed, worth £100. Starting bids £40
  3. A Gengar PSA 10 Playing Card, worth £175. Starting at just £1.
  4. A Scarlet & Violet Paldean Fates Pokémon Centre Elite Trainer Box worth £350. Starting bid is £100.
  5. A RAW Solgaleo Lunala TAG that usually goes for £270, but our auction starts at £100.
  6. A sealed Mega Evolutions ETB Pair worth £150; starting bid is £2.
  7. A sealed Mega Evolutions Booster Box with £200. Auction starts at £36.
  8. And, as mentioned, a Mega Charizard Special Illustration Rare (traditional Chinese) worth £400. The auction starts at £100.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg, as we have a whopping 24 items for sale, each highly sought after and available at a potentially huge discount.

There are games to play and prizes to win, so come on over!

What is eBay Live?

If you’re new to what we’re doing here, you might be asking yourself what eBay Live is. It’s a nifty new feature for eBay that lets experienced, trusted sellers (fully vetted by eBay) livestream their inventory for auction, so folks can make live bids on products they can see on camera. Sellers can answer questions live, Rip N Ship (where booster packs are opened live on stream to see if the buyer got any rare items), and generally have a more fun, engaging experience.

Download the eBay Live app here to start bidding on your favourite collectables.
