Lisa Rinna’s dramatic beauty transformation leaves her unrecognizable on the Fashion Awards 2025 red carpet

Lisa Rinna made one of her most dramatic red carpet appearances to date, turning heads for both her outfit and her atypical glam.

Attending the 2025 British Fashion Awards on Monday night, Rinna was the guest of designer Maximilian Raynor, modeling his sculptural creation on the red carpet.

Her glam team (including hair by Sam Elliot) took her to the next level with a bleached bouffant-style ‘do and bleached eyebrows to match, rendering the soap star nearly unrecognizable.

The ensemble was crafted using gingham plaid in a black-and-white pattern. It featured dramatic high shoulders and a peplum waist that merged into a fitted, thickly fringed skirt.

“It’s head-to-toe couture, honey,” Rinna told The Perfect Magazine on the red carpet. “It is couture, but it’s couture made to me … for me, by him,” she added as she gestured towards Raynor.

10 Magazine went behind the scenes before the event, chatting with Rinna and Raynor about the evening and — of course — the look.

“For me, someone who is in LA … to come to the British Fashion Awards is so iconic,” she said. “It’s like … better than the Met Gala,” she quietly added.

“I said it! I think it’s chicer than the Met Gala. Only … I’ve never been … but I would still like to do.”

The designer described the custom, couture look as “drama, glamour, LA meets London … sort of, like, vampish meets midcentury.”

Which is exactly what Rinna’s retro-inspired hairstyle contributed to the vibe.

“It’s in this amazing check that’s kind of like your granddad’s shirt, but taken and elevated,” he continued, adding, “It’s really an exploration of that, but fused with the women’s textiles of Maximilian Raynor.”

Though this might go down as one of the star’s most dramatic red carpet looks, it isn’t the first time that she changed her signature brunette bob to fit the moment.

Rinna attended the Viktor & Rolf Haute Couture fall 2025 show in Paris last summer, where she stepped out in a trench coat with a similarly oversized shoulder, bleached (and slightly purple) hair in a bouffant-style updo.

As for her latest head-turning look?

“I’m very excited for Lisa to be the first to wear it,” Raynor shared.
