Fresh from his wondergoals for Manchester City on Saturday, Phil Foden headed to festive duties with his family for their annual Christmas party.
This year they pulled out all the stops by booking out an ENTIRE festive craft village in Cheshire for the occasion. They invited a host of friends and family to enjoy the Christmassy fun on Sunday.
On Saturday, Phil was the Blues’ goal-scoring hero in City’s match against Leeds bookending the match with goals. He hit home after just 59 seconds against Leeds, and then sealed victory with a last-gasp winner to make it 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium.
So by Sunday it was well-deserved celebration time for Phil and his family, with their annual Fodens’ Family Christmas Party. Although even Phil couldn’t escape the Grinch, the famous green grouch, who made an appearance and had some banter with the goal hero at the event.

The location for the festivities was Blakemere Village near Northwich in Cheshire. The shopping and craft village is known for going to town with their Christmas events, and this year has seen the return of its Winter Woodland Trail.
Guests at the Fodens’ party first got to wander through the woodland light trail, before then heading into the main party itself with lots of festive characters, fairground rides and a live DJ.
Phil hosted the party with partner Becca, and their three childern Ronnie, 5, True, 3, and baby Phil, who were seen in pictures enjoying the festive event in full swing.

Families were treated to toasted marshamallows, a full on Christmas market and younger visitors got to decorate gingerbread biscuits too.
The Grinch couldn’t resist a bit of banter with Phil and his eldest son Ronnie though. The green-faced grouch was seen in a video shared by Ronnie’s instagram account asking Phil: “Has he been naughty this year again?”
A laughing Phil joked “Yeah every year” as the camera pans to Ronnie who is seen telling the Grinch to “hush” in the background.
It didn’t take long for Phil to be back on the ball though – videos captured at the event by photographer @fotosbyfm showed Phil doing a spot of keepy-uppy as he headed into the festive tipis to chat with friends at the bash.

Among guests were family friends, reality tv star Tanya Bardsley and her sons. Tanya took to Instagram to share a host of festive pictures from the bash, and thanking the Fodens for throwing the “best” event.
She wrote: “The fodens know how to throw a famiy Xmas party… the most down to earth humble family who never forget their roots which is very rare these days… the best family.”

She added her thanks for “the best night and my boys loved every minute… it’s the first time they didn’t have one scrap or argument it was so good,” adding “Love you guys”.
She praised Cheshire’s Ledigo Events who put together the festivities on Sunday for the Foden family.
Influencer and fashion boss Tara Mays was also among attendees and shared pictures walking through the woodland light trail to her instagram. She said: “The perfect end going into December after a booked and busy weekend.”
