Children under the age of 16 will soon be banned from a raft of social media platforms in Australia.
But at the eleventh hour, a couple of new social media apps, not yet covered by the ban, have had a sudden spike in downloads.
And if new platforms can keep popping up outside the ban, some question how effective the ban will actually be.
