Cathay Pacific to Launch Aria Suite on San Francisco Route in 2026

Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific is set to enhance its long-haul offerings by expanding the availability of its new Aria Suite business class on its Boeing 777 aircraft. Notably, this represents the suite’s first scheduled deployment to the United States, with the San Francisco route (SFO) slated to include the updated configuration starting in early 2026.
The airline is systematically reconfiguring its Boeing 777-300ER fleet as part of a strategic plan to refresh its long-haul network out of Hong Kong (HKG). Beginning January 3, 2026, the reconfigured Boeing 777-300ER will be deployed on the San Francisco route, operating three times a week under the CX872 and CX873 flights. Customers are advised to double-check the aircraft type when booking, as long-haul fleet assignments may change.
