Rain arrives along the Connecticut shoreline

OLD SAYBROOK, CT (WFSB) – While some parts of the state saw snow, the shoreline saw rain.
Channel 3’s meteorologists said people in towns like Old Saybrook would need umbrellas and winter coats on Tuesday.
The rain arrived around mid-morning.
Channel 3’s crew in town described it as a cold rain, as temperatures were in the 30s.
In New Haven, the rain was cold and steady for most of the day.
The above freezing temperatures, windy conditions, and rain made for a not so ideal day for anybody who had to spent time outside.
“Its very cold, its very wet, I feel like im flying away,” said Sha’ty Kennedy.
“My umbrella went inside out earlier, it’s really cold. I hate walking in the rain, I slipped too earlier, it’s just really bad weather,” said Fanny Milambo.
Experts suggested that drivers check their tire pressure before they hit the road during storms such as this. They said to expect a drop of 1 to 2 pounds pers square inch for every 10 degrees the temperature drops.
