Stars’ Tyler Seguin injured early vs. Rangers

Tyler Seguin was knocked out early during Tuesday night’s game and did not return.
The Dallas Stars centre went down less than two minutes into a game against the New York Rangers after he collided with Vladislav Gavrikov. Seguin was ruled questionable to return by the Stars but he didn’t take another shift in what ended as a 3-2 overtime loss.
The 33-year-old Seguin has scored seven goals and 10 assists in 26 games this season. He’s played for the Stars since the 2013-14 season, and played his 1,000th career NHL game on Oct. 30.
The Stars have not disclosed Seguin’s injury. Dallas has been battling injuries all season and was already without Thomas Harley (lower body), Matt Duchene (upper body), Nils Lundkvist (lower body) and Lian Bichsel (lower body).
