FSU football recruiting, committed, signed on national signing day

Florida State football is ready to move on from last year, and rightfully so.

That starts with their incoming class, which is one of the strongest in the country thanks to Mike Norvell & Co., who FSU administration announced would be back for the 2026 season.

The ‘Noles hold commitments from 12 players in the USA TODAY Florida Top 100, headlined by players like Chauncey Kennon (No. 3 CB in the country) and Izayia Williams (No. 6 LB in the country).

Here is a look at FSU’s class headed into the early signing period. This file will be updated as players make their commitments official and sign their binding agreements:

Height, weight: 6-foot-1, 175 pounds

Notable: Tallied 8.0 TFL and a sack for Walton in his senior year. He originally committed to the ‘Noles in June and his older brother, Caleb, is also a linebacker in Tallahassee.

Notable: Williams caught 20 passes for 155 yards and six touchdowns through nine game for Plant. He added a pick, two pass breakups, and 10 tackles on the other side of the ball.

Notable: Led the Greenie defense with 71 tackles, 15.0 TFL and 7.0 sacks as a senior. FSU was early on Daniels, and was his first offer after watching him camp.

Notable: Green was originally committed to Mississippi State despite being high on his hometown Seminoles’ board. FSU never gave up, and hosted him for a visit five different times after getting him to flip in June.

Notable: Moved to quarterback after Vero Beach’s starter went down in the season opener. Led the Indians to an undefeated season and berth in the Class 7A Final Four after posting 2,225 passing yards and 27 touchdowns on 156-of-210 completions with just seven picks. Added 916 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns on 127 carries.

School: Hoover (Ala.)

Height, weight: 5-foot-9, 155 pounds

Notable: Went for 625 yards and four scores on 53 catches for 6-5 Hoover. Added an interception on defense. Younger brother of FSU legend Jameis Winston.

School: Hillgrove (Ga.)

Height, weight: 6-foot-4, 236 pounds

Notable: Cardin went for 39 tackles with 12.0 TFL and 7.0 sacks with a pair of pass breakups and a forced fumble. He committed to Georgia Tech in July, the decommitted in October. He named FSU a month later.

Notable: Longtime Florida State commit who has visited Tallahassee at least eight times since 2024. Has an older brother, Joseph, is an offensive lineman at Alabama.

Notable: O’Neal has tossed for 2,622 yards and 29 touchdowns with just three interceptions with a 61-percent completion rate. FSU flipped him from Oklahoma in the summer.
