I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here viewers think they rumbled a change to the latest Bushtucker Trial as they spotted a worrying detail during Ruby Wax’s latest attempts.
The comedian and presenter faced off with snakes, lizards, eels, green ants and spiders in the Misfortune Tellers trial as seen during Monday’s (December 1) episode of the ITV reality show.
At the sound of the klaxon, Ruby was seen undoing the knots in a red rope dangling in front of her, with the yellow star sitting at the top. Soon, a number of large snakes are placed inside the box and start to slither around the branches over her head.
As her hands tremble, Ruby works her way through the knots, but is hindered as the snakes start to come closer. “Oh I love them, you know I love them,” she tried to convince herself as host Ant McPartlin encouraged her to “pay no attention to them”.
After struggling to untie multiple knots, she was seen winning the camp five out of a possible 10 stars. The 72-year-old was disappointed with her result, and apologised as she returned to camp, saying: “I’m really sorry.”
But while some fans watching home claimed the challenge had been ‘simplified’ for the older star, others felt Ruby shouldn’t have to take on any more trials after spotting her ‘shaking’ throughout.

The episode also saw Kelly Brook, Aitch and Angry Ginge tucking into half of the milk bottles they won during the day’s challenge, before heading back to camp with what was left.
The episode also saw tensions rise between the celebrities as Ginge complained about the amount of washing up, due to campmates eating rice in mugs instead of containers. He argued that the group were “doubling the washing up”, his assigned camp chore, during the episode.
