WEST HOLLYWOOD (KABC) — The holiday season is in full swing and people are getting into the spirit, with the help of the Queen of Christmas herself – Mariah Carey! There’s a new Christmas pop-up bar at the Sky Bar inside the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood.
“This one’s official. She’s not letting us do things she doesn’t approve, and her team has ideas,” said said Derek Berry, the president of experiences with Bucket Listers, the group behind the pop-up. “Her team says, what if you name the cocktail this, right, and so there’s that authenticity to it, and it is co-signed by her.”
During the day, it’s a holiday brunch under the sun, and at night, it’s a winter wonderland under the lights.
“This is like a true Hollywood Christmas bar. It’s twinkly. It’s amazing But like the music’s there the glam is there right? We want people to come have fun be cute,” said Berry.
It’s designed for locals and visitors alike, who love pairing Christmas with a Hollywood legend.
