Accused childcare paedophile charged with abusing more children

Childcare worker Joshua Brown is now accused of abusing kids at four daycare centres across Melbourne after being hit with 83 new charges.
Detectives on Thursday announced Brown, 27, was now facing accusations he abused four more victims at three extra centres.

He is already facing charges relating to eight victims who attended Creative Garden Early Learning Centre in Point Cook, in Melbourne’s south-west.
Police said in a statement the children’s families had been notified and no one would require further health testing.

Between them, the four new victims attended: Nino Early Learning Adventures in Point Cook on March 26, 2019; Only About Children in Williamstown on December 1, 2020 and February 22, 2021; and Aussie Kindies Early Learning Centre in Keilor between February 3 and 11, 2025.
Brown started working at Nino just weeks after graduating from high school. He studied early childhood education at TAFE during his final three secondary school years.
The new charges include six counts of sexually penetrating a child under 12, eight counts of producing child abuse material, using a carriage service to transmit child abuse material and committing a sexual act in the presence of a child under 16.
Brown has also been charged with 12 bestiality offences, related to a separate investigation, and further sexual abuse charges relating to his previously identified victims.
