On Wednesday night, the Dallas Mavericks played the Miami Heat (at home) in Texas.
The Mavs won by a score of 118-108.
Anthony Davis finished with 17 points, 17 rebounds, four assists, one steal and three blocks while shooting 7/17 from the field and 2/4 from three-point range in 27 minutes of playing time.

Davis had come into the night with averages of 21.1 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.6 blocks per contest while shooting 53.7% from the field and 31.3% from three-point range in seven games.
The future Hall of Famer is in his first full season playing for Dallas.
He has also spent time with the New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Lakers over 14 NBA seasons.

The Mavs improved to 8-15 in 23 games, which has them as the 12th seed in the Western Conference.
They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak (and 5-9 in 14 games at home).
Following the Heat, the Mavs will play their next game on Friday night when they visit the Oklahoma City Thunder.

As for the Heat, they dropped to 14-8 in 22 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.
They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games (and are 4-6 in ten on the road).
Following the Mavs, the Heat will play their next game on Friday night when they visit Desmond Bane and the Orlando Magic.
