Rollover on Perth freeway causes peak-hour traffic turmoil

A vehicle rollover on a Perth freeway is causing peak-hour traffic turmoil for motorists on Wednesday evening.

The incident, which was reported by Main Roads about 5.50pm, has resulted in the left lanes being blocked on the Mitchell Freeway south bound at Loftus Street.

Chaotic footage shows a silver car flipped on to its roof in the middle of the road as a woman directs traffic around the vehicle.

Drivers are urged to exercise caution when travelling through the area.

Meanwhile a three-car pile-up that happened about 5.30pm has reduced traffic to a single lane on Reid Highway eastbound before Malaga drive.
