Highlights:

Peaceful Bunker Bay is in the spectacular south-west corner of Western Australia, around a three hour drive from Perth. Lincoln checked into the only resort within the epic location, the luxurious Pullman Bay Resort.

Set on 14 hectares of native gardens and beachfront, the 5-star modern villas are immersed in nature and range from romantic studios to 3 bedroom family bungalows. Some villas have lake views and others have direct beach access, all are secluded but close enough to the world class facilities which include heated infinity edge pool, gym, tennis courts and day spa.

Dragging himself away from the beautiful beach, a 10 minute drive away Lincoln visited one of the region’s best breweries, Eagle Bay. The family owned and run restaurant and microbrewery is located on a picturesque working farm. After a behind the scenes tour of the brewery he sat down in the garden bar to sample six of their core range, starting with the pale and refreshing kolsch, right through to their smooth cacao stout.

Back at Bunker Bay, and while the Pullman Resort has a superb restaurant on site, a short stroll along the beach is another option for an elevated dining experience. Tucked in behind the dunes, ilma Beach House combines the natural beauty of the surroundings with decor inspired by a modern Mediterranean way of life. Chefs work closely with local fisherman and small-scale producers to help form the seasonal menu that inspires long lunches to celebrate and unwind.

With a table full of fresh seafood, a cold Eagle Bay beer and magic views of the bay, Lincoln thinks he may have just found paradise!
