Ole Miss Head Coach Lane Kiffin’s Family Guide: Meet His Ex-Wife and 3 Kids

Lane Kiffin has stolen the college football spotlight in recent weeks, as sports fans wait with bated breath to see where he will be coaching next season.
The current Ole Miss head football coach – one of the most coveted names on the sidelines – was reportedly deciding between staying with the Rebels or leaving to coach at Louisiana State University. Prior to an official announcement, sources told ESPN that Kiffin planned to sign with LSU.
During the tense, potentially career-defining moment, Kiffin was seemingly supported by his family, including his ex-wife Layla Reaves and their three children. Despite their 2016 divorce, Reaves is a staple on the sidelines, watching her ex-husband compete in several collegiate matchups.

Lane and Layla were married in 2004 but eventually divorced in 2016. The couple had three kids together: daughters Landry and Presley, as well as son, Knox.
Despite the separation, there have been reports of a private reconciliation between the two and Layla is often seen at Ole Miss football games with her family. In November 2025, she was at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Mississippi, for the rivalry matchup between Ole Miss and Mississippi.
Layla herself has college coaching experience, serving as an assistant volleyball coach at the University of Tennessee. Lane was the offensive coordinator for the football team at the time, and that’s how the two originally met.

Lane and Layla’s oldest daughter, Landry, is a student at Ole Miss.
Landry was at the center of some controversy back in September 2025, when she went Instagram official with LSU linebacker Whit Weeks. Landry’s post came the same week that her dad’s team was set to face off against the Tigers, adding some speculation that the timing of the social media post was not coincidental.
Moreover, as Lane makes his all-important decision of where he will be coaching next season with LSU currently the frontrunner, an upcoming move to Baton Rouge could be in the cards. If Lane signs with LSU, it’s unclear whether or not Landry will follow.
Presley Kiffin
Presley is Lane and Layla’s middle child. She currently plays volleyball at the University of Southern California as a freshman outside hitter.
She announced her commitment to the school via Instagram in March 2024.
Knox Kiffin
Knox is Lane and Layla’s youngest. He’s a sophomore quarterback and Oxford High School in Mississippi and a Class of 2028 recruit.
While his dad was coaching in a November 2025 matchup against Mississippi, Knox was leading his team in the Mississippi high school football playoffs, throwing for three touchdowns in the team’s semifinal loss, 21-20, against Tupelo High School.

With his high school football season over, Knox will likely refocus on his college recruitment. In October, he shared on Adam Gorney’s podcast that his top three schools are currently Oregon, Florida and LSU, which of course is a fluid situation.
One thing he said confidently is that he does not want to play for his dad.
“I’m definitely not going to play for my dad,” Knox said on Gorney’s show. “I want to do my own stuff.”
