Report: Cornerback Darius Slay will not report to Bills, to decide about NFL future

Darius Slay may not be a Buffalo Bill after all.
Despite being claimed off waivers on Wednesday, the 34-year-old cornerback will not report to Buffalo, and plans “decide in the next few days if he wants to keep playing,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Thursday.
Slay signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the off-season and played 10 games for them before being released on Tuesday.
He began his career with the Detroit Lions in 2013 after being drafted 36th overall. During his time with the Lions, Slay made three Pro Bowl appearances and was named a first-team all-pro in 2017.
He was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2019, where he made another three Pro Bowl appearances and won a Super Bowl in February.
The Bills released cornerback Ja’Marcus Ingram on Wednesday to make room for Slay. They are set to host Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
