‘Avoid the area’: Police incident cordons off Inverness roads

Police cordoned off Inshes Road and Strathspey Place.

A busy Inverness road has been cordoned off by police amid reports of concern for a person.

Inshes Road, a busy through road connecting Milton of Leys to Sir Walter Scott Drive, is closed, as too is Strathspey Place.

Confirming the closures, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Road closures have been put in place on Inshes Road and Strathspey Place in Inverness, following a report of concern for person which police were called to around 8.30am on Thursday, December 4.

“Please avoid the area and use an alternative route.”

No further details were immediately available at the time of writing.
