The premiere shows of Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 will start in a few hours, and audiences are very excited to catch the action drama directed by Boyapati Sreenu. The film stars Aadi Pinishetty, Samyukta, and Harshaali Malhotra in crucial roles. In the first part, Pragya Jaiswal played the female lead, but the actress wasn’t seen in the trailers, teasers, or promotions of Akhanda 2.
In an interview, Balayya spilled the beans about her role in the second installment. “Boyapati garu and I discussed what her character can do in the second part. We couldn’t find much scope. Also, including her character would increase the film’s length unnecessarily. Hence, we decided to end her character and put a garland on her photo (meaning her character dies),” said Balayya.
Produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, the film features a soundtrack by SS Thaman. The second part largely focuses on the Sanatana Dharma concept, with Harshaali’s character being the key.
