Emmerdale fans were quick to make the same plea after Dylan Penders was left fighting for his life following Celia’s instruction for Ray.

Over the last few months, Emmerdale introduced a horrifying storyline which delves into the world of modern slavery. Newcomers Celia and Ray are the ringleaders of the operation that has seen slaves working on farmland just on the outskirts of the village.

Meanwhile, teenagers April and Dylan have been on drug runs for the pair in order to pay off their increasing debt.

However, the storyline developed further after it was revealed that Bear Wolf was one of the slaves following his absence for several months.

Making it seem that she runs a scheme to help homeless people, she told Dylan she’d love him to take on a role similar to that of Ray.

Dylan later noticed Bear and following his discovery, he ran to Marlon to tell April to get the police. Sadly, Celia found Dylan and learned who Bear actually is.

April eventually decided to tell Marlon and Rhona everything after Dylan begged Marlon to ring the police, worried that April was in danger.

On Thursday (December 4), Ray went to confront Dylan over his Bear discovery, but as Dylan told Ray that he was also being exploited by Celia, he lost it.

Back at April’s, Celia showed them a video call with Ray where it showed him hitting Dylan with his car following the ordeal before injecting him with a drug hoping to silence him forever.

After Rhona snapped at her, Celia grabbed her by the face until she started to bleed. With her threatening that “throats will get slit”, viewers have been trying to work out how her reign of terror will come to an end.

Now, viewers are petrified that Dylan won’t make it out alive as he was taken straight to Hotten General hospital for treatment.

On X (formerly known as Twitter), @ryansoapking25 wrote “I hope to god that Dylan survives on his 18th Birthday” as @tracey5177 added: “i really hope dylan doesn’t die he has been such a good character”.

@lornawatts echoed: “Please don’t kill Dylan off”. There’s no confirmation as to what will happen to the teenager, but will Ray and Celia be stopped?

Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
